The Lean origin

It all started in 2015 when Nenad, our founder, left his role as a marketing director at Upwork in the USA, and returned to Macedonia along with his family.

The dream? To create an agency with a premium team of marketers that actually care for their clients.

Disappointed by the prevailing agency model that spread talent thin across too many clients, he envisioned something different: a top-notch marketing agency where people see clients’ businesses as their own.

From the beginning, the focus was never on quick wins and profits, but on delivering meaningful and enduring growth.

With a deep commitment to just one client in the first two years, he started what is today known as “LEAN” – a company of marketing and creative superstars.

Years later, LEAN is still delivering premium service for one of the fastest-growing brands in the USA and EU.

Today, we blend the wisdom of our nine-year journey with the agility and excitement of a startup. Every day, we’re still figuring things out, continuously reinventing and challenging ourselves. Here marketing is not just our profession – it’s our passion.

From the very beginning, Nenad believed in the power of finding people better than himself. This belief is the cornerstone of our vision – we want LEAN to exist 100+ years from now, delivering services that don’t just meet the mark, but set new standards.
