Our core values

Our core values

LeanSEM was founded on the idea that “Everyone deserves quality time, not just time”. This notion is deeply rooted through the personal experiences of our CEO and founder, Nenad Molerovic, who came to believe that a) quality always finds its way to the surface and b) we can only make a true impact when we are focused and eager to solve the challenges presented to us. Hence, he created a new business model; a PPC agency with an in-house like model for every client. A marketing agency that puts the customer at its core by offering honest insights and visible results of quality and value that only passionate marketers can deliver.

What do we mean by passionate marketers? Well in our view, they are continually seeing the world in a new and different way, discovering hidden patterns, connecting seemingly unrelated insights, and creating solutions all the while feeling excited about it. They view constraints as catalysts for innovation, embodying critical thinking to continually search for new insights, new truth.

Over the past six years we’ve distilled our thinking and learnings and we’ve come to believe that if you display the following Core Values you have what it takes to grow a successful career at LeanSEM. Our Core Values are our North Star, guiding us in both good and uncertain times, justifying the very notion of Why LeanSEM exists

[mark_green_u]Impact Addict[/mark_green_u]

To be an Impact Addict means you love solving problems. The struggle to find solutions shouldn’t stress you out; they should inspire and excite you.

Do you wake up in the middle of the night with “AHA” moments? Then this could be you. Deep down, you know that if anyone can figure it out, it’s you. And even if you don’t feel that way, at least you feel the need to keep going until you do.

The secret? You get a rush from being the one responsible for getting results.

[mark_green_u]Genuine Care[/mark_green_u]

If you genuinely care about what you do, you double and triple check your work to make sure you didn’t overlook something. You think of multiple ways to solve a problem, do your best, and then analyze what you can do better next time. You act in order to learn and then take that lesson with you for the next challenge because doing your best matters to you.

You see your work as a reflection of yourself. When your integrity is essential to who you are, it’s obvious to everyone around you. A person who genuinely cares tries to understand others and their problems so they can find a way to help! Because it’s not just about them, it’s about doing the right thing.

[mark_green_u]Ownership[/mark_green_u]

To show ownership is to understand your own accountability. You look for what needs to be done and do it.
You own your work and your clients’ success. Whether you succeed or fail, you look for the  lesson so you can do better next time.

You see problems as opportunities.

[mark_green_u]Comradery[/mark_green_u]

What really makes a business successful is its people. We see business as a team sport and each person plays an important role. It is crucial that we all share the same goal which is to provide exceptional value to our clients and each other.

Sharing knowledge is the only way we can all move forward and grow as a team. So, be generous with your knowledge and don’t withhold information. Raising the bar for everyone only makes you better.

[mark_green_u]Sense of Urgency[/mark_green_u]

There are two great quotes that help explain this core value:

Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today!” – Benjamin Franklin

Be quick – but don’t hurry.” – John Wooden (Basketball coach for UCLA for 12 yrs.)

Act quickly and respond as fast as humanly possible. However, in order to do that effectively you need to learn how to recognize and prioritize the most impactful opportunities first. You shouldn’t sacrifice quality just to get things done. You should be proactive, not just reactive.

To summarize, having all other core values without the first one might give you results some of the time but will not give you the best results at any given time. The process of how to navigate complexity and overcome challenges with solutions is key to your continued success. Marketing is a game for creative thinkers, so identifying what to do next and why is critical. Passionate marketers make a way where there isn’t one, passionate marketers do their best regardless of what the task is and they enjoy bringing out the best in others. Passionate marketers are relentless.

Does this resonate with you? Are you a passionate marketer? We would love to meet you. See all open positions.

In the meantime, join us in our Facebook Group PPC Addicts. Meet other digital marketers and advertising enthusiasts like yourself, and stay in the loop regarding the PPC trends and news. Sharing knowledge is what will help us all move forward!
